Web Accessibility

Anacorates Inn will be using the relevant portions of the World Wide Web Consortium's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 Level AA (“WCAG 2.0 AA”) to guide its compliance. The relevant portions of WCAG 2.0 AA will serve as our primary web accessibility standard, though other standards may also be used to provide accessibility to the extent required by the Americans with Disabilities Act (“ADA”). Our website will be tested on a periodic basis in accordance with these standards to ensure accessibility. Some of the testing methods used may include assistive technology such as screen readers and screen magnifiers.

Accessible Features

Parking/ Transportation

• Accessible vehicles can be accommodated.
• The location of the ADA parking space is in the parking lot located off Commercial Ave. directly after the covered patio area on the South side of the parking lot. There are two (2) ADA parking spaces available.
• Guests using wheelchairs will need to access the lobby by accessing the ramp located next to the ADA parking spaces.

Public Spaces

• Wheelchair accessible lobby entrance with ramp access
• Wheelchair accessible corridor (ground level)
• Ramp access to all public areas
• Guide dogs and service animals welcome
• Staff will read printed/visual information to guests who are blind or have low vision

Accessible Routes

The first-floor areas are all accessible. All entrances are sufficiently wide enough and where there are sloping areas, they are within the guidelines of elevation.
